NIT to light up its buildings, gardens with solar power

Nagpur: Nagpur Improvement Trust (NIT) has prepared a plan to light up all its buildings and gardens with solar power. The decision was taken after the success of solar power project at NIT’s main administrative building at Sadar.

Biogas plant to run community kitchen at Golden Temple

AMRITSAR: The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbhandhak Committee (SGPC) has decided to install a biogas plant at the community kitchen of the Golden Temple here in an effort to reduce its carbon footprint.
