Over 300 beneficiaries treated at Free Health Camp in Khoda

A free health camp was successfully organized on Thursday in Khoda Colony under the “Jan Arogyam Community Health Service Program”, supported by Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The event was executed by Bisanouli Sarvodaya Gramodhyog Sewa Sansthan (BSGSS), a committed NGO working to improve community health access.
The camp aimed to provide quality healthcare services to local residents and featured a dedicated team of doctors who conducted medical examinations for a total of 317 people from 10:00 AM to 2:45 PM. Special attention was given to screening for anemia, diabetes, and hypertension. The services included blood tests, blood pressure monitoring, oxygen saturation checks, and other basic health assessments. Free medicines, nutritional supplements, and immunity boosters were distributed among the attendees to support their recovery and overall well-being.
The event witnessed the presence of several dignitaries. From the Ghaziabad district administration, District Magistrate Deepak Meena (IAS) graced the occasion. Key officials from the Department of Public Enterprises (DPE), Government of India, also attended, including Dr. Vasundhara Upmanyu (IRS), Joint Secretary (Policy Division); Lukas El Kamsuan, Joint Secretary; Kranti E. Khobragade (IRS), Deputy Secretary; and Kailash Bhandari, Deputy Director.
Representing IOCL were Rashmi Govil, Director (HR); Ashalata Sachdeva, General Manager (CSR); and Vibhuti Pradhan, Executive Director (CSR), who showed their commitment to impactful public health programs. The camp’s successful coordination was led by BSGSS CEO Nandita Bakshi, along with J.N. Rai (Director – Projects) and Anup Kumar (Director – Operations). The Jan Arogyam team actively contributed to smooth execution throughout the event.
The initiative stands as a model of collaborative public-private effort in extending vital healthcare support to underserved communities.
